endless build now loop w/ triggers

what I did to cause this : I made a project depend on another project (as well as the default svn stuff) then I checked in. my project was failing, and what happens, is it starts building, deletes the build directory, then starts again, then deletes it again, and so on. what the user sees is building, clicks on the page and when the build page refreshes, he/she sees (no build xxxx found) - not good
